Laid

Laid, Norway's first sextoy brand

Laid is above all an adventure begun by two friends in 2007 in Olso, the capital of Norway. During the summer, Line Iren Andersen decided to finish her master's degree in industrial design at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and design several sex toys for couples. A revolution for the Norwegian country, which has no brand of erotic toys.

On graduating, Line Iren Andersen contacted a friend of hers, Karianne Ronning. Ronning is a research assistant on the project and has a degree in business. The association of the two Norwegians led to the famous sex toy brand: laid. Over a period of 18 months, the two worked hard to develop a range of top-quality toys.

Laid, being the first brand to design and manufacture erotic toys in this country, had to employ innovative and technological means to offer objects of exceptional quality. The brand was officially created and registered in 2009. The head office, design, marketing and technical innovation departments are based in Oslo, Norway, while production facilities have been set up in Shenzhen and Xiamen, China.

Sex toys without taboos

The brand's main idea is to remove the taboos surrounding the purchase of erotic toys for pleasure and/or well-being. To achieve this, Laid proposes innovative designs to break the image of realistic dildos as the only sex toys available on the market.

Laid sex toys are never designed in advance. They are first sculpted by hand, then tested by real people, and the operation is repeated until these real people validate the product. Colors and finishes are chosen following the same process.

Laid offers various products such as penis rings and dildos. They are made from materials such as medical-grade, body-safe silicone to provide sensual, refined and body-healthy sex toys.
